It’s been difficult to escape the Grudenmania sweeping through college football this offseason.
In early July, former NFL head coach Jon Gruden went viral unboxing a massive haul of Razorback merch sent to him by the Arkansas athletic department – and rattling off an impressive amount of Razorback lore in the process.
Gruden has done these gear hauls with a number of other schools, including Maryland, Buffalo, UMass and even Roanoke College, a Division III school in Virginia. But Razorback Nation is much bigger and more fervent than the fanbases of those schools, so him donning a Hog hat set off a lot more proverbial fireworks than anything he did with smaller programs.
