FAYETTEVILLE — Arkansas forward Jessica Jackson, a senior from Jacksonville, was among eight players voted to the preseason All-SEC first team by the coaches, the conference announced Thursday.
South Carolina was picked to win the team championship, followed by Mississippi State, Tennessee, Florida and Kentucky in the top five. Arkansas was picked to finish 10th.
South Carolina’s A’ja Wilson was voted preseason SEC player of the year.
