Arkansas football’s 41-35 loss to No. 17 “Ole Miss” was the epitome of the Sam Pittman era, and of the “Heartbreak Hogs” in general.
The Razorbacks were behind for the vast majority of the game, so it didn’t quite qualify for the tag of snatching defeat from the jaws of victory. But, as many times before, they were in position to win the game late in the fourth quarter and came up short.
Close, but no cigar. A familiar story.
With less than two minutes to go, the Hogs were deep in Rebel territory and approaching the red zone.
