We’re not even all the way through SEC Media Days yet and the anticipation for the 2025 football season has already reached a fever pitch — for heavyweights like Texas to teams lower down the food chain like Arkansas, hope is in the air.
While the Razorbacks won’t meet with the media in Atlanta until Thursday, their former Southwest Conference rival had its moment Tuesday. The Longhorns were represented by head coach Steve Sarkisian, linebacker Anthony Hill Jr., defensive back Michael Taaffe and, of course, star quarterback Arch Manning.
Despite being the reigning SEC champions, Sarkisian was on the receiving end of a laughably bad gaffe by the production team, who blasted the Aggie War Hymn over his entrance rather than “Texas Fight”
Manning was the belle of the ball, not just for the Longhorns but the conference as a whole.
