Many have accepted their team’s relegation to SEC bottom-feeder as a fact of life – a worthy sacrifice for greater success on the hardwood or the diamond. Of course, it wasn’t too long ago that the Razorbacks were a mainstay in the AP Poll, with back-to-back top-12 finishes only 15 years in the rear-view mirror.

From the time Frank Broyles took over in 1958 up until Ken Hatfield’s departure in 1989, Arkansas was a national brand and a perennial force with which to be reckoned.
