It Seems Like ESPN Announcer Karl Ravech Can’t Wait to Bury Arkansas Before Facing UCLA

No. 3 Arkansas continues its College World Series gauntlet tonight with a second elimination game in as many days, this time against No. 15 UCLA.

After dropping the opener to LSU, Arkansas defeated Murray State to stay alive thanks to a historic no-hitter from starting pitcher Gage Wood. UCLA beat the Racers on Saturday but lost against the Tigers in a game contested across two days due to thunderstorms over Omaha. Despite winning their first game, the Bruins will be at a disadvantage as far as rest is concerned. The Razorbacks have over 24 hours since Monday’s contest concluded, but UCLA vs LSU didn’t wrap up until after noon today.
