BATON ROUGE, La. — Here’s an eyebrow raiser: Interim coaches in the Arkansas vs. LSU series have a respectably strong 3-1 record.
Interim coaches are 2-0 for LSU and 1-1 for Arkansas in the series, dating to the Razorbacks’ first season in the SEC under interim coach Joe Kines in 1992.
Interims will be on both sidelines when struggling Arkansas (2-7, 0-5 SEC) takes on the disappointing Tigers (5-4, 2-4 SEC) on Saturday at 11:45 a.m. at Tiger Stadium.
