After an ugly start, the Arkansas women’s basketball team controlled things after halftime in a 73-63 victory over Southern Illinois on Wednesday at the Music City Classic in Nashville, Tenn.
The Razorbacks (7-1) never led in the first half yet never trailed in the second in what was a tale of two halves. They trailed by as many as 12 early and led by as many as 17 late.
Arkansas won both of its game at the invitational ahead of a home game Sunday at 12:30 p.m. against Harvard. The Razorbacks beat Drake 79-72 in their opener at the Music City Classic.
