FAYETTEVILLE -- Jesse Barker of Benton thought he had seen the last of Baum-Walker Stadium after playing in consecutive state championship games there in 2018 and 2019.
But he'll likely receive another opportunity to play in the stadium after University of Arkansas baseball Coach Dave Van Horn announced last week that the Razorbacks have added the University of Central Arkansas and Arkansas State University for baseball games at the stadium in 2021. Barker is a freshman at UCA and a former high school teammate of Peyton Pallette, a freshman at the University of Arkansas.
"That's awesome," said Barker, who is a pitcher for the Bears.
