It’s good to be home for the holidays, and Arkansas basketball couldn’t have gotten out of Newark, N.J., faster on Saturday evening.
No. 8 Houston ran wild on the Razorbacks, shooting 52% from the field and 44% from behind the arc. The Cougars had yet to reach the century mark in points this season, but came within a hair of it in a 94-85 win over No. 14 Arkansas.
The biggest storyline entering the game was the clash between two five-star freshman point guards: Darius Acuff Jr. for the Hogs and Kingston Flemings for the Cougars.
And boy did it ever live up to the hype.
