Late last week, the four-star linebacker from Bryant High School chose Oklahoma over Arkansas, and others, to start his college-football career. His came the day after Arkansas kept a four-star forward from Little Rock Christian, JJ Andrews, in-state to start his college-basketball career.
Twenty years ago, Arkansas would have wondered what the hell football coach Sam Pittman was doing letting Smith get away.
Natural State products of that caliber had better stay in-state, now, coach.
