FAYETTEVILLE — Arkansas probably would have beaten Missouri if it just kept the bat on its shoulder all day Saturday.
Seven bases-loaded free passes were more than enough for the No. 2 Razorbacks to win their rain-soaked series opener. Unfortunately for the Tigers, they also swung the bat.
The result was a 21-3 seven-inning massacre at Baum-Walker Stadium.
Despite going to the plate just six times, Arkansas (28-3, 9-1 SEC) scored its most runs in an SEC game during the Dave Van Horn era and second-most ever since joining the league in 1992, trailing only the 30 it put up against South Carolina in 1997.
