Hogs' O-line commit is truly home on the ranch

When Arkansas offensive line commitment Cole Carson isn’t doing anything football related, he’s usually with his grandfather Sonny Belcher working on their 400-acre ranch they co-own.

“Ever since I could walk, I’ve always been doing this and that with my granddad,” Carson said. “We’ve been doing everything together since I was itty-bitty.”

Carson, 6-6, 285 pounds, of Bogata (Texas) Rivercrest pledged to the Razorbacks over offers from Auburn, Vanderbilt, Ole Miss, Arizona, Colorado, Duke, Southern Miss, Texas-San Antonio, Louisiana-Monroe and others.

He and his grandfather have FI and Brahman cattle, as well as other livestock on the ranch.
