FAYETTEVILLE — The Arkansas Razorbacks will renew their basketball rivalry with the Texas Longhorns when the teams play on Nov. 9 to open the 2018-19 season in the seventh Armed Forces Classic at Fort Bliss in El Paso, Texas.
The game will be televised on ESPN as part of the network’s initiative honoring the men and women who are serving and have served in the United States military.
It will be the first appearance in the event for both the Razorbacks and Longhorns.
“We are honored to participate in the Armed Forces Classic next year,” Razorbacks Coach Mike Anderson said in a news release.
