Arkansas football got a much-needed dose of good news on Monday afternoon when four-star offensive tackle Bryce Gilmore committed to the Hogs.
The Prosper, Texas native, is rated as the No. 186 overall prospect in the country and the No. 15 offensive tackle, according to 247Sports. Gilmore received a scholarship offer from Arkansas on his July 3 birthday last year, and was scheduled to announce his decision on that day this summer. Instead, he decided to return the favor and give Arkansas football coach Sam Pittman a present of his own by pulling the trigger early.
Gilmore was in Fayetteville this weekend for an official visit, which he said definitely boosted Arkansas’ chances.
