As LSU learned Sunday, sweeping Arkansas has been arguably the toughest task in the SEC for nearly a decade.
The No. 7 Razorbacks overcame an early 2-0 deficit and hung on late to salvage a 7-4 win over the No. 3 Tigers after dropping the first two games of the series at Alex Box Stadium.
Even though it has now lost three of its last four series, Arkansas (41-11, 18-9 SEC) has managed to avoid getting swept. That is how it remains alone in second place in the conference standings, two games behind Texas for the SEC title.
