FAYETTEVILLE — The Razorbacks are on the brink of returning to the super regionals, which they can clinch with a win in Sunday night’s Arkansas vs Creighton matchup.
Sitting at 2-0, No. 3 national seed Arkansas needs to beat the Bluejays just once — either Sunday or Monday — to advance to a best-of-three series next weekend, while Creighton must win both games to knock out the host Razorbacks. The first of those chances comes at 8 p.m. CT Sunday.
A packed Baum-Walker Stadium will be rooting for Arkansas to go ahead and take care of business to avoid a stressful Monday, but it likely also has some much stronger support than usual from the folks in Birmingham, Ala.
