MEMPHIS -- It might seem confusing why the Arkansas Razorbacks have such a bad bowl record (14-23-3), but if the postseason losses and wins against Southeastern Conference schools were deducted, the Hogs would be 11-13-2.
The SEC has long been a powerhouse, and while the old Southwest Conference was a good, sometimes great football league, it really wasn't as good as the SEC.
That goes a long way to explaining why the Hogs are 3-10-1 in bowl games against teams from the SEC.
That said, since joining the SEC, the Razorbacks are 5-8 in bowl games.
