Arkansas recovered from its 4-8 debacle by getting back to the postseason last year, winning seven games while boasting a top-10 offense in yards per game.
Bobby Petrino’s unit moved the ball extremely well, but penalties, turnovers and red zone struggles kept the Razorbacks from always turning those yards into points.
Perhaps what’s most impressive about Arkansas’ offense in its first year running Petrino’s system was that it overwhelmingly relied on transfers. Top passer Taylen Green, top rusher Ja’Quinden Jackson, three starting linemen and a whole host of other contributors were brought in by the staff last offseason.
