Hog fans wasted little time poking fun after Arkansas crushed A-State

Everyone knows the Razorbacks own the Natural State, but a vocal group of A-State fans in Northeast Arkansas has long wanted to grow their program’s profile. So when Arkansas State finally got its shot at the Hogs, fireworks were inevitable — if not on the field, then all over social media.

Arkansas crushed the Red Wolves 56-14 in their first-ever meeting, setting the tone from the opening snap. The Hogs needed just two plays to reach the end zone, capped by a 53-yard burst from running back Mike Washington. Outside of one sustained touchdown drive and a special teams lapse that led to another score, Arkansas’ defense kept ASU bottled up, holding them to just 285 total yards while the Razorbacks rolled up 630.
