Hit Rate of Peach Jam MVPs after High School Says a Lot for JJ Andrews’ Prospects

Under the bright lights of one of prep basketball’s most prestigious events, Arkansas commit JJ Andrews was the belle of the ball.

The Little Rock native was named MVP of the Nike EYBL Peach Jam Summit after leading his 17U squad, Brad Beal Elite, to a second straight title. Andrews averaged 18.2 points, 5.9 rebounds, 2.1 assists and 2.0 steals over the course of the tournament. On championship Sunday, he led the team in scoring with 20 points and added six rebounds, two assists and a steal while shooting 7 for 13 from the field and 6 for 6 from the charity stripe.
