FAYETTEVILLE — As the Arkansas basketball team made its late-season push toward an NCAA Tournament bid and subsequent run to the Sweet 16 earlier this year, breakout performances from Trevon Brazile were a large contributor.
The first of 4 double-doubles during Brazile’s junior campaign came as part of a 16-point, 14-rebound outing that helped the Razorbacks to a 90-77 victory at Vanderbilt in March. He took that performance in the regular season’s penultimate game and carried it into the postseason.
His energy plays during an 11-point, 12-rebound showing in an NCAA Tournament first-round game against Kansas helped Arkansas advance with a 79-72 victory.
