Henry goes in second round to Chargers

FAYETTEVILLE - Hunter Henry went about where he was expected.

The former Arkansas tight end was, like projected, the first tight end taken in the 2016 NFL Draft. And while the Little Rock native who left after three seasons with the Razorbacks did not go in the first round, it took only four selections into the second for Henry’s name to be called. Henry was chosen with the No. 35 overall pick by the San Diego Chargers.

Henry is the highest-selected Arkansas player since Felix Jones went No. 22 overall in 2008. He was a first-team All-American and Mackey Award winner with Arkansas in 2015 after having caught 51 passes for 739 yards.
