The level of competition Arkansas has faced so far is a factor, but the early returns on Year 2 of Taylen Green are encouraging.
In a pair of blowouts, the Razorbacks’ gunslinger has completed 71.9% of his passes for 561 yards and an FBS-leading 10 touchdowns. He’s added another 192 yards and a score with his legs.
While Alabama A&M and Arkansas State are certainly not the ‘85 Bears, averaging 376.5 yards of offense – the third-best mark in the country – is nothing to scoff at and he’s helped Arkansas put up 108 points, its most through two games since 1911.
