Georgia RB sees Arkansas as a possible landing spot

Running back Daijun Edwards could see himself at Arkansas after making an official visit to Fayetteville.

“It went good,” Edwards said. “A lot of stuff I didn’t expect. Yeah, I loved it.”

Edwards (5-11, 205 pounds) of Colquitt County (Ga.) High School has offers from Georgia, Florida State, Auburn, Penn State Florida State and others.

Edwards broke two school records in 2019 for most career rushing yards and career touchdowns. He rushed 165 times for 1,008 yards and 11 touchdowns, and had 28 receptions for 408 yards and 2 touchdowns as a senior.

As a junior he had 227 rushes for 1,480 yards, 26 touchdowns, and 10 catches for 83 yards.
