FAYETTEVILLE — Arkansas true freshman quarterback Madden Iamaleava is planning to enter the NCAA transfer portal according to a report from Matt Zenitz of CBS Sports, citing a source.
Iamaleava flipped his commitment from UCLA on the first day of the early national signing period Dec. 4 and enrolled at Arkansas for the spring semester. He went through spring practices and worked primarily with the third-team offense.
The former 4-star recruit from Long Beach, Calif., is the younger brother of UCLA quarterback Nico Iamaleava, who transferred from Tennessee this spring.
Madden Iamaleava’s high school teammate and 3-star receiver prospect Jace Brown also flipped from the Bruins to Arkansas on early national signing day.
