One of the more interesting aspects of college football is the personalities that accompany it. From the Steve Spurriers, Lane Kiffins and Dabo Swinneys of the industry to the Nick Sabans, Will Muschamps and Brian Kellys, there’s an endless number of coaches who exhibit a variety of demeanors.
It’s impressive that, despite their differences, they all motivate 18- to 21-year-olds to perform at their best. Some may be extremely hard and demanding, while others may tend to be a “player’s coach” instead. One example of how polarized coaching styles can be is Auburn’s Hugh Freeze and Arkansas’ very own Bobby Petrino.
