Frank Ragnow Joins All-Time Pro Hog Offensive Line Before Age of 30

After seven highly productive years in the NFL, Frank Ragnow announced his surprising decision to retire from football at just 29 years old on Monday.

The Detroit Lions center might have caught some fans off guard, but given the grueling nature of his position, seven seasons is likely the equivalent of putting in 30-plus years at a regular job.

Indeed, Ragnow cited his health as the determining factor in stepping away from the game.

“I’ve tried to convince myself that I’m feeling good but I’m not and it’s time to prioritize my health and my family’s future,” Ragnow wrote on Instagram.
