Arkansas football fans like to believe that if Hunter Yurachek had thrown a bigger bag at Lane Kiffin in 2019*, the hotshot offensive mastermind would now be coaching Arkansas instead of wiping the remains of Mississippi State off his Thanksgiving plate.
Well, given the news emerging on Friday, it turns out that the size of the offer might have not even mattered in Kiffin’s ultimate decision to forgo the Hogs for Mississippi.
Sports Illustrated’s Pat Forde confirmed Kiffin has stiff-armed Florida despite the deep-pocketed Gators’ “significant offer.” He is now expected to either stay at “Ole Miss” or leave for LSU, which has assembled a nearly $100 million package to try and lure him to Baton Rouge.
