Arkansas football coach Sam Pittman has been the talk of the town over the last 24 hours or so, for all the wrong reasons.
After an embarrassing loss to Memphis that saw the Hogs blow an 18-point lead thanks to a second-half meltdown, the Head Hog checked in at the very top of On3’s hot seat rankings after week four. Arkansas also led the way in Yahoo’s weekly “misery index.”
The writing appears to be on the wall for Pittman, barring a miraculous navigation of Arkansas’ brutal remaining schedule. Six of the Hogs’ remaining eight opponents are ranked in the latest AP Poll.
