FAYETTEVILLE — Former Arkansas offensive line coach Eric Mateos is expected to be hired to the same position at Wisconsin, WholeHogSports can confirm.
Mateos spent two seasons on Sam Pittman's staff at Arkansas but was not retained by new coach Ryan Silverfield, who is reportedly set to hire a pair of coaches to replace him.
Mateos previously worked as offensive line coach at Baylor (2021-23), BYU (2019-20) and Texas State (2017-18) before returning ot Arkansas, where he had worked as a graduate assistant from 2013-15.
