FAYETTEVILLE — Craig Parry had no interest in attending the College World Series until he had earned the right to be there.
That happened in 2018 in Parry’s only season as a volunteer assistant coach at Arkansas. He was the first base coach and worked with the catchers during the Razorbacks’ national runner-up season.
Parry was experiencing a similar feeling this week as he prepared to travel to Toronto for Game 1 of the World Series between the Blue Jays and the Dodgers on Friday night. Parry, 39, is in his third year working with the Blue Jays organization and was recently promoted to hitting coordinator.
