Late in the fourth quarter, LSU running back Harlem Berry slid to the ground on what could have been a touchdown run to seal an unlikely 23-22 win over Arkansas.
That decision to go down proved to be the final blow for the Hogs.
One of the most crucial first blows, however, came from some foolish decisions to lift up.
In the first quarter, Arkansas looked like it was on top of the world in Baton Rouge after quarterback Taylen Green slalomed into the endzone from 11 yards out to take a 14-0 lead.
With the Tigers sitting at 5-4 entering the game, all the air had been let out of LSU’s season – especially after Brian Kelly’s firing a few weeks ago.
