FAYETTEVILLE — Thursday was the 11th time in 12 days the Arkansas baseball team did not play a game.
Since concluding the regular season with an 8-4 victory over Tennessee on May 17, the Razorbacks’ only game was a 5-2 loss to Ole Miss at the SEC Tournament last Friday in Hoover, Ala.
“Obviously we’re restless to play,” Arkansas pitcher Zach Root said Thursday. “We want it to be tomorrow now.”
The last time Arkansas went this long in season with only one game was 2008 when the Razorbacks did not qualify for the SEC Tournament.
