Arkansas basketball enters its Friday night matchup with Jackson State hoping for an easier evening than its last two outings.
The Razorbacks are coming off consecutive narrow wins over mid-major opposition in Samford and Winthrop. The Tigers, ranked 301st in KenPom out of 365 D-I teams and still smoldering from a filleting at the hands of Auburn, should present a softer landing for the Razorbacks. It’s the final home cupcake on the menu before consecutive ranked matchups against No. 5 Duke and No. 6 Louisville.
This is also the last chance for Arkansas to tighten up its rebounding and defensive struggles before those big tests, while serving as Razorback fans’ last opportunity to improve on a recurring issue of their own – attendance in non-sexy games.
