FAYETTEVILLE — Fans who frequent the Hog Pen at Baum-Waker Stadium might not know his name, but many of them are aware of Tony Coffey. Some call him Coach, others some variation of “the Cookie Man.” At least one calls him “the Cookie Monster.”
Whatever they call him, they know he’s the one to go to for a sweet treat.
Tony and his wife, Brooke, are known for bringing Brooke’s cookies to every home game.
It started about three years ago, when Brooke brought some cookies to share with the couple’s friends at the game. Over time, more people started asking for them, and Brooke obliged.
