FAYETTEVILLE — Speaking on The Paul Finebaum Show on Friday, ESPN college football reporter Pete Thamel gave an update on the Arkansas football coaching search timeline.
Thamel’s update came at the end of a segment that was primarily focused on Ole Miss coach Lane Kiffin. There were no follow-up questions from Finebaum.
“I would think that one wraps up relatively soon,” Thamel said of Arkansas. “It appears they’re in the final stages there. Now, I wouldn’t be surprised if we got some clarity on that one this weekend.”
The Razorbacks (2-8, 0-6 SEC) have been searching for their next head coach since the Sept.
