A pair of former Arkansas players hit home runs in the same game Thursday night.
Brett Eibner hit his first career home run for the Kansas City Royals, while James McCann hit his fourth of the season for the Detroit Tigers. The Tigers won 10-4.
It is just the second time two former Razorbacks have homered in the same game. Tom Pagnozzi and Jeff King each went deep July 4, 1996, in a game the St. Louis Cardinals beat the Pittsburgh Pirates 7-1.
Eibner's home run was a solo shot in the fifth inning off former Cy Young Award winner Justin Verlander and gave the Royals a 4-3 lead.
