SEC Media Days are an annual opportunity for every football coach in the country to pump sunshine and platitudes to their starving fanbases back home who can’t wait for the fall.
Talkin’ season is the best, because when you’re 0-0 there’s not much negativity to go around. Every coach thinks he has a good team that’ll be better than last year.
So kudos to Missouri football coach Eli Drinkwitz for keeping things interesting, though he went about things in the strangest way possible when he took the podium on Thursday and immediately proclaimed that he would not be answering any questions about the Epstein files or the JFK assassination.
