FAYETTEVILLE — Three pitchers who have never started a game at Arkansas will be in the Razorbacks’ rotation at the College Baseball Showdown that is scheduled to begin this weekend.
Right hander Zebulon Vermillion will start Saturday against No. 4 Texas Tech, right hander Peyton Pallette will start Sunday against No. 10 Texas and left hander Lael Lockhart will start Monday against No. 11 TCU.
All three games will be played at Globe Life Field in Arlington, Texas.
Vermillion, a fourth-year junior with 32 career appearances, and Pallette, a second-year freshman with four career appearances, transitioned into starting roles during the offseason.
