The first day of the 2025 MLB draft finished up on Sunday, and before the night was over, Arkansas baseball made history. For the first time, the Razorbacks had more than one player selected in the first round, with a whopping four Hogs picked.

Gage Wood, Wehiwa Aloy, Zach Root, and Charles Dalvalan all heard their names called in the opening round. The first Razorback off the board was Wood. The Philadelphia Phillies picked the right-handed pitcher 26th overall.
After hearing a record amount of shortstops called before him, the Golden Spikes award winner Aloy went 31st overall, joining Heston Kjerstad with the Baltimore Orioles.
