FAYETTEVILLE — Arkansas' 9-1 start is good enough for a bump in the USA Today coaches' poll.
The Razorbacks moved up two positions in the poll that was released Monday. After releasing a preseason poll, the coaches' poll does not begin updating weekly until after the third week of the season.
The Razorbacks have weekend series wins over Eastern Illinois, Southern Cal and Stony Brook this season, and a midweek win over Memphis. Their loss was 6-4 at USC.
Arkansas will host North Carolina-Charlotte twice and Louisiana Tech three times this week. Louisiana Tech (9-2) received votes but was unranked in this week's poll.
