FAYETTEVILLE — The Arkansas Razorbacks won't have to wait until 2019 to play an in-state baseball opponent.
The University of Arkansas and University of Arkansas-Little Rock have agreed to scrimmage Oct. 12 at Gary Hogan Field in Little Rock, according to multiple sources.
Other details, including a start time, scrimmage length and information for attending the scrimmage are not yet available. Neither program has officially announced the scrimmage, which would be the day before the Razorbacks' football game against Ole Miss on Oct. 13 at War Memorial Stadium in Little Rock.
The scrimmage would be a replacement for the Razorbacks' Sept.
