FAYETTEVILLE — Breaking it down simple terms, Arkansas football coach Sam Pittman had this to say about why the Razorbacks could be better and more dangerous this fall after a 7-6 season in 2024.
“We have Taylen Green and they don’t, so we’ve got a chance,” Pittman said during Thursday’s appearance at the Hawgs Illustrated Sports Club luncheon.
Green, the Razorbacks’ returning quarterback, is on a handful of preseason watch lists for awards — the Manning, the Johnny Unitas Golden Arm, the Maxwell, the Davey O’Brien and the Earl Campbell Tyler Rose, to name a few — but he really hasn’t gotten his due in the SEC.
