BENTONVILLE – The most difficult part about evaluating high school prospects is the question of how that talent will translate to the next level.
Friday night’s matchup between Bentonville and Conway was one of the rare exceptions to that, as a trio of Arkansas football commits took the field to face off under the lights. Wide receivers Dequane Prevo and Blair Irvin III suited up for the Tigers, while safety Tay Lockett patrolled the defensive backfield for the Wampus Cats.
Irvin was born in Joplin, Mo., but has spent most of his childhood in Northwest Arkansas.
