FAYETTEVILLE — Longtime athletic trainer Dave England has been promoted to interim Director of Athletic Training and Dave Polanksi has been named head athletic trainer for football, Arkansas announced Thursday.
In his role as interim director, England, who has been with the Razorbacks since 1984, will have administrative oversight of Arkansas’ sports medicine program.
England will remain head trainer for the men’s basketball program and continue his work with Arkansas baseball, men’s and women’s tennis, men’s golf and the Razorbacks spirit squads. In 2016, England earned the Chris Patrick Award, given to the most outstanding athletic trainer in the SEC.
