FORT SMITH — Even when it doesn’t appear Arkansas 2017 center signee Daniel Gafford is having a spectacular game, the numbers end up looking outstanding.
Gafford (6-foot-11, 223 pounds) had his seventh triple-double this season while scoring 22 points, grabbing 21 rebounds and blocking 10 shots Thursday afternoon to help lead El Dorado over Bryant 80-78 in double overtime at the 38th annual Coca Cola basketball tournament.
“Daniel could have had even bigger numbers than that, but I think he had times when he kind of let them push him around for a bit,” El Dorado head coach Gary Simmons said.
