No, this is commentary is about Elson the dad. He took a step up in my eyes after a bucket list vacation this summer.
Elson, along with his 77-year-old father Howard, took his 13-year-old son Gabe on a week long white water rafting trip on the Colorado River in the Grand Canyon.
Pictures are worth 1,000 words and the batch Elson sent after the trip made me melt. It was easy to see it was an adventure of a lifetime when I opened the grand photo of Phil and Gabe 2,000 feet above the river.
