The best part of a fly fishing is the solitude. It’s probably the main reason I’ve come to love my time on the river. Solo wading trips are grand.
Sometimes it works out, but sometimes there people ruin it. As someone once told me in an effort at humor: People, they are the worst.
For example, I’m reminded of the middle of the awful John L. Smith season after the termination of Bobby Petrino. Doing talk radio shows was about one constant question: Who is going to be the next coach?
We are there again, only there should be a level of competence with Petrino as the interim coach.
