FAYETTEVILLE — The Arkansas baseball team is set to spend another weekend indoors as it continues its preparation for the Feb. 13 season opener against Oklahoma State.
Around 8 inches of snow fell in Fayetteville last weekend, according to the National Weather Service. That, coupled with multiple days of below-freezing temperatures, has left the field at Baum-Walker Stadium snow packed.
Arkansas pitching coach Matt Hobbs said early preseason practices were structured with the impending cold weather in mind.
